8.8 kilometers. Maybe not so long a distance, but for me, it was the longest ever that I've jogged without stopping, or walking. And I made it just this evening. It felt great. My lungs didn't complain much, and although my feet were already weary after only the third round, they still managed to push me through. And even pulled off to make the fourth round the fastest.
My buddies for tonight, Ades and Peeta-san made it as well. I don't think I could bear to run that long, without radio, without them. We didn't even need to talk (well, while running, we didn't, actually). Their presence alone was enough to push me. Definitely beat the boredom and loneliness of running around the acad oval for more than an hour.
Go me, and Ades and Peeta-san!
The numbers: 16:47, 16:15, 15:55, 14:54; 1:03 total.

Ringing in my ears
I hope I'm not getting deaf. Everytime I hit the crash cymbal, I hear a ringing sound, something not very different from the phone's ring. And now, just after playing the drums for more than an hour, my right ear feels a bit weird, like some mass is inside it.
But my hearing's still fine, I think. Although surely it won't be soon, if I don't cut back on exposing my eardrums to sounds with above average decibel levels. But I can't stop drumming. Besides, I don't get to play the drums very often anyway, just once or twice a week.
What I can do is cut back on wearing earphones almost every waking office minute. Now, that's going to be a bit of challenge. Without my constant fix of music, I find it really hard to stay alert while working.
So here's hoping the wonders of coffee will still work on me. Coffee to prevent deafness, now that's something new.

long time no post
And still can't decide what to write about. So many things to tell, yet can't figure out how to begin.
Ok, maybe I'll start with my cell phone situation. I have a new one now, and it has FM radio! So, it has made my losing all my old phone's contact info and a sizable amount of money every pay day for the next two months much easier. I thought Ok, I was going to bear it, just save some money every month to pay for the credit card that got me the new phone, and scour for old contacts through the help of friendster. I have a radio now, and can now easily tune in to the hippest rock and R&B tunes while trying to be a diligent office girl. I was not sad, but not ecstatic either. Truthfuly, I still was a bit sulking, and really not looking forward to the next pay day. But then this Monday, my brother came to me with a most splendid news! He found my old phone! Now I'm not only happily reunited with my precious old contacts, but will be some thousand pesos richer when I get to sell the resurrected phone. Yey!
Like what Rose-chan said this afternoon at Nihongo class, ureshiiness!!
So that's the phone situation.
Next, the jogging thing. I've recently extended my jogging rounds to three rounds around the acad oval. It's now a bit slower, but way longer. And not so tiring, I think. At least for the lungs. I think they love it, even after the three rounds. It's a bit different for the legs, though, because even after only two rounds I can feel them getting tired already. But it's all good. I'm loving my pace and distance right now. I didn't get to jog tonight, but will definitely go tomorrow!
There's also more of us jogging these days, so it has gotten more enjoyable. Peeta-san, as well as Pat, have joined the club. And sometimes, we get to drag Rose-chan. Now, there's at least five of us. More encouragement in numbers.
So there's the jogging situation, and I'm going to end with it for now. My other brother's pestering me to go home asap. Actually, to leave my office and go to his, so we can play warcraft already, which is a very good idea.
So, I'm going to go. now.
